Leipzig have won their last four matches in all competitions. They sit second in the Bundesliga, currently 4 points behind Bayern Munich and are into the German Cup quarter-finals.

Their defence has been strong in recent weeks, winning to nil in 3 of their last 4 matches.

Julian Nagelsmann’s side won 1-0 against Bayer Leverkusen and beat Bochum 4-0 in the German Cup. Leipzig then won 3-0 at Schalke, an easy victory after having 64% possession and 3.10-0.13 expected goals.

Leipzig’s last match was a 2-1 home win against Augsburg. They were 2-0 up at half time after goals to Dani Olmo and Christopher Nkunku, conceding a late penalty to make it interesting.
