While Benevento’s recent results have not been pretty, they have remained consistent in front of goal - scoring in six of their last seven matches.

The Stregoni came from a goal down against Cagliari to record a 2-1 win away from home. Midfielder Marco Sau equalised in the 41st minute before defender Alessandro Tuia headed home the winner three minutes later.

Since then, Benevento have suffered consecutive 4-1 defeats to Atalanta and Crotone respectively.

The loss to Crotone was further soured with Sau being sent off in the 65th minute.

Sau will miss due to suspension, while midfielder Pasquale Schiattarella will also be sidelined after testing positive to coronavirus.
