SportChamps Review October 2024
Jump to:
With more than $300,000 won from the platform every month, SportChamps is a popular Australian betting site where things are done a little differently.
On this platform, players make deposits and get virtual cash in return. They can then use this virtual cash to take part in betting tournaments which come hand in hand with huge cash prizes.
In this review, we’ll explain everything in a little more detail and analyse each element of the site to help you decide whether or not this gambling style is right for you. If you want to give it a try, feel free to check out our SportChamps referral code before you head over there.
If you’re looking for a basic betting site where you can wager on regular sports and racing markets, you’re going to want to look elsewhere.
SportChamps Design & Navigation
When we switch to a new bookmaker, we normally know right away how to make our way around the platform, but because it’s no ordinary sportsbook, the design and layout of this site may take some getting used to.
That doesn’t mean it isn’t well-designed, though - they have certainly put a lot of thought into the design and we can’t think of any ways in which it could be improved.
From the homepage, you just need to click the “Go To Lobby” button for things to become a little clearer. From the Lobby, you can then find and enter tournaments that suit your tastes the most.
If you really do get stuck, there are plenty of guides with videos which explain what you need to do.
SportChamps Sports
You won't find any non-equestrian sports competitions on SportChamps; they're all about horse racing here.
Click on the Racebook in the side panel to see all of the horse racing events that you can wager on regularly without needing to join a tournament. Markets for these races include Win and Place - and you can also create same-race multis.
Races include horses, harnesses, and dogs, and they include events taking place all around the world, including Great Britain, Ireland, France, Italy, and South Africa, in addition to Australia and New Zealand.
SportChamps Live Betting
Unfortunately, there is no live betting on this site. All wagers must be placed before an event starts and you’ll usually have plenty of time to get bets in before the events are scheduled to begin, with markets available days or weeks in advance.
If you want to bet on in-play horse racing the standard way, just take a trip over to the likes of Bet365 or Unibet instead.
SportChamps Mobile App
Thanks to the intuitive and easy-to-use SportChamps mobile application, customers of the service can get involved from much more convenient locations than their work desks.
The app is available from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store, so you won’t miss out based on your affinity for one side in that particular argument.
Deposit funds, place your bets, socialise, cash out, or get help from the customer service team from anywhere you can get an internet connection on your chosen device.
SportChamps Payment Methods
Like most other Australian betting sites, you won’t find many payment methods to choose from at SportChamps.
In fact, there are only really two options to choose from and those are debit cards or bank transfers. That means your list is as follows:
- Visa
- MasterCard
- Bank Transfer
We don’t see why these sites do not feel compelled to add more options, especially when there are so many options on the web now and punters have different preferences.
At least the options that are available are fast, secure, and fee-free, though.
SportChamps Customer Service
The two best ways to get in touch with an online business are available on this site. Those options are Live Chat and email. There’s even a third option in case you’re “one of the 27 people who still post mail”.
The Live Chat doesn’t state whether or not is available throughout the night but we do know it’s available from early in the morning until late in the evening.
If you want to send an email, the email address you need to direct your messages towards is members@sportchamps.com.au.
If you want to send a letter, the bookie has a PO Box at P.O Box 4122, East Richmond, Victoria 3121.
No matter which contact method you choose, you can be sure you’ll get the help you need and that you will never be out of action for too long - unless you choose physical mail, of course.
