First things first - our first impressions of the site. After loading in, we noticed that this site uses the same template as various other Aussie platforms. This has its pros and cons.
While we would rather every site was more unique and provided a one-of-a-kind experience, we do like that we know our way around already, even though we’re new to the platform.
DiamondBet uses blues, golds, and silvers in its colour scheme, however, the site is mostly a white background, which we’re fond of since it makes everything easy to see. We’re able to find our way around easily, as well, thanks to the simple navigation system.
The main menu can be found in the top left-hand corner of the page and we can use it to move between the most important pages on the site, including Home, Sports, Promotions, and Live Chat.
DiamondBet Sports
As far as we’re concerned, the most important part of the site is the sportsbook. Since this is an Aussie site, many of you may disagree, but we just feel that “Sports” edges it on the priority list.
After clicking on the drop-down menu next to the “Sports” link, we were left feeling a little deflated. Sure, we could see our favourite sports categories, but there just isn’t nearly enough of them available.
In total, there are just 11 options for us to choose from. This might be the lowest number of sports categories we’ve seen at an online bookmaker anywhere in the world. The options are as follows:

To make things worse, we were unable to find any in-play betting markets. This means that we must place all bets before a game has begun, using pre-game markets. This isn’t uncommon in Australia but it is still sorely missed.
One thing DiamondBet does offer, though, is a live-streaming service called DiamondBet TV. We gave it a try and it seemed to perform perfectly well. The connection was stable but that is more to do with our own internet connection.
So, the ideal live betting experience at DiamondBet is to place bets on racing before the races begin, and then load up DiamondBet TV to see how your runner performs.
DiamondBet Mobile App
The DiamondBet mobile betting application was easy to download from the App Store, allowing us to log in and bet on an iPhone in next to no time at all. The app is also available on Google Play if you have an Android device.
On the mobile app, we were able to find all of the features that were available to us on the main website. Making a deposit was straightforward; as was finding the sports betting markets to spend the money on.
We actually had the opportunity to make a withdrawal while testing out the app, too, thanks to the 10/11 favourite “Thelastsay” finishing in 1st place at Mountaineer. The withdrawal was processed quickly and the funds were back in our bank by the morning.

Heading into the Deposits section of the site, we were pleased to see the options that were available to us - we just wish there were a few more options for us to choose from.
The payment methods accepted for deposits and withdrawals on this gambling platform are Visa, MasterCard, and CommBank. The latter being an option we don’t see very often, so will appeal to a number of prospective customers who are on the hunt for a site that accepts it.
Again, we’d have liked to have discovered more options, but we can’t be too disappointed because these options are fast and secure. We can rest assured knowing our deposits will be fast and free.
DiamondBet Customer Service
To ask the customer service team a few questions, we clicked on the “Live Chat” link which can be found towards the bottom of the main menu in the top left-hand corner of the screen.
As expected, this link opened the Live Chat feature, which was available to us at the time. However, this contact method is only available from 09:00 until 22:00 AEST each day. If you bet outside of these hours, you will need to use the one alternative option:
