“Scientifically sinister”, BetProfessor is a new betting site on the block, which provides more ways to bet on racing and sports from all around the world.
Available on the web and mobile, this betting site can always provide you with a fulfilling betting experience, regardless of whether you sway more towards racing or sports.
There are some handy betting features to make use of, too, however, they are common features that we see in most sportsbooks these days - we’re certainly glad they’re available, though. These include Blended, same-game multis, same-race multis, international racing, and “mad” promos.
We snuck into BetProfessor’s lab to see what we could find, evaluating all of the most crucial aspects that make up the platform, allowing potential members to make an informed decision on whether or not to register.

BetProfessor Design & Navigation
With a science fiction, mad professor, Frankenstein’s Monster-type theme, BetProfessor is another reskin of the very same template used by the likes of Sterling Parker, VolcanoBet, and QuestBet.
As we’ve stated in the reviews of those sites as well, there are pros and cons to sites that are happy to use the same site layout as other platforms. While players do prefer unique sites, we are at least able to find our way around very quickly.
After creating an account, we had a look around the site, using the main menu as the central point of our navigation. From this menu, we were easily able to find the most important areas of the site, including All Sports, Thoroughbreds, Deposit, Promos, and back to Home.
BetProfessor Sports
Compared to the other sites that are using this template, BetProfessor offers a decent selection of sports for us to browse through and wager on. 20 sports categories were available in all, which is around double the number found at some of its competitors.

As well as sports, we had a look through the racing sections to see the options that are there, too. Clicking through Thoroughbreds, Harnesses, and Greyhounds, it was easy to see how this site could appeal to racing enthusiasts, with international meetings and exotic markets available.
BetProfessor Live Betting
If, like us, you love betting on live sports, then, like us, you will be disappointed to learn that there are no live betting options on this site.
Not only are there no in-play betting markets for any of the twenty sports categories, but there is also no live-streaming feature, so we are unable to watch any live action, either.
We did contact the customer service team to see if any live betting options will be added in the near future and the response certainly insinuated that it is unlikely.
BetProfessor Mobile App
“Unleash your betting experiments with the app” - members of BetProfessor can also place their bets using the dedicated mobile application, which can be downloaded from either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
We found the app to be very responsible, as expected, and we were easily able to make a deposit and place bets on both racing and sports without any hiccups.
Using this app, we can place bets, check fixtures and results, make payments, and achieve anything else that we would usually be able to achieve on the regular website.
BetProfessor Payment Methods
Most customers will be happy with the payment options that are available to them at BetProfessor, however, we certainly weren’t pleased. This is because Visa and MasterCard are the only two options available.
The thing is that the majority of Aussies do have access to these two payment options, so there is nothing stopping them from participating. Our problem is that there are so many other options that they could add, so why not add some of them to appeal to prospective customers who have alternative preferences?
BetProfessor Customer Service
If there is one particular area of the service in which BetProfessor excels - as well as its fairly extensive selection of sports categories - it’s in the Customer Service category. It’s almost unfair on them that we’ve grown to expect this level of care from an Australian betting site, though.
Thanks to the Live Chat feature, we were able to get in contact with a customer care rep within moments each time we needed to. Our questions were answered quickly and comprehensively, and it even felt like our suggestions were being taken on board.
